BRIEF:
To update and reconfigure the ground floor space.
Our client had fallen out of love with his beautiful Surrey home. They were looking to move as a result and then the pandemic struck.
They quickly realised the convenience of living on the doorstep of Cobham and decided that the internal spaces of their family home no longer worked for them. They also realised this didn’t mean an expensive move.
The large arts and crafts house was dark, cramped and they found that individual rooms were tight on space and therefore unused.
We worked alongside them to fully reconfigure the 3000sqft entire ground floor space. Knocking down walls, turning an under stairs cupboard into a luxury powder room and creating a living room with vaulted ceiling and functional open plan kitchen/diner. Additionally, we designed an external entertaining terrace to be used all year round.
