BRIEF:
To completely re-furbish and create a double side extension to produce a symmetrical façade, full loft conversion, rear extension, studio/annex, landscape front and rear and create secure off- street parking.

Our clients purchased this large property set on just over an acre of greenbelt land. It had been neglected over a few years and as such, the garden and grounds were completely overgrown. The house was in need of a complete electrical and plumbing overhaul. Due to greenbelt constraints we had to argue the case for the extension that was proposed and it was accepted, leading to the planning approval.

We redesigned the entire house, removing walls to optimise space and light, bringing it up to modern day living standards. A particular feature in need of modernisation was the large atrium and windows seen upon entering the house. We gave this space much larger windows giving beautiful views over the fields and allowing light into the main entrance space.

The master bedroom was re-designed to incorporate a walk-in wardrobe and large double en-suite. All bedrooms were made larger and bathrooms serving these, updated and modernised.
The kitchen area was increased in size to create a large kitchen and dining area with doors onto the garden patio. A large pantry and separate utility room as well as a boot room were designed with access from the side of the house.

We redesigned the exterior of the house to bring it up to date and make it more aesthetically appealing using weatherboard detailing to give it a New England style appeal.
